01/03-2010 | Sunday – meetings’ day

28.02.2010

Sunday is the day of 2 meetings as always. In the morning Sergey had to preach but somehow the pastor was preaching so Sergey left being “pregnant” with the word. So we just sat on that meeting, after the meeting we had some conversations with people from the church.

In the evening it was a meeting in the gipsy church. This time girls from worship and Olya were together praising God and worshipping Him. After that we had a sermon. It was very interesting when Olya started sharing, one church member said the passage that she was going to read and also Katya had been thinking of that passage lately. So all the interest was shown while the sermon was going on – people were very attentive and were listening to every word. After the sermon we had a discussion of it. O, hallelujah, in the end of the meeting we did some photos together finally. And we were saying them bye (sorry, actually we were saying them “chao-chao”, even small Daniil knows how to say it in Bulgarian language), we felt like saying it to our relatives. It is so hard to imagine how we are going to say them our final bye…

O, congratulations to everybody – the first day of spring! We noticed today that the leaves on the bushes and trees are growing! How big difference it is between the north and the south! Here we almost forgot that somewhere it is still winter with a lot of snow…

So it was a day off. In the morning some of us went to Internet to talk to our relatives, but they we not on the line Olya, Sergey and Daniil spent the morning in the café as a family and after that went to Semenovgrad to one family. They spent there a very nice day, eating sweet things and talking three languages, kids were playing with each other, sometimes quite hard.

Katya and Nastya baked a lot of pancakes for themselves and for the guys too. During the day Niki and Petya were also here and tried the pancakes. They liked them!

Sergey amazed Petya with his question. He asked: Petya, do you have flesh (meaning memory stick, in Russian language it is called fleshka)? Funny, but Petya understood him right when all of us were just laughing!

In the evening all of us (except the family) went to have a walk, remembering how it was in our childhood, playing on the kids playground. And we also visited one café. So the day finished with eating pancakes again.. Hopefully we will enter our clothes having come back to Norway!
