Today we decided to have a bit of a chilled out time with the young people from the Vulcan Church. We played charades (in 2 languages at the same time) ate cookies and danced a bit. Overall we enjoyed ourselves quite a bit. The boys were also happy to get a glimpse of what the gypsy belly dance is like because towards the end of the meeting the gypsy girls belly danced for a few minutes. Directly after our little party with the Vulcan church youth we went to Ponchio’s house for a home group meeting. Andy said something about holiness and repentance and afterwards we had a discussion about several different things because there was a non Christian who had a lot of questions and things to say. Hopefully our answers were satisfying to him.

I am pretty sure that in evening at least the boys went to the internet café and that Andy and Katya cooked something utterly delicious.

Outreach is almost over, some of us are happy others not so much. I would say that the group atmosphere is average. I believe that we can work together sufficiently well but we aren’t the best of friends so during our free time unless something is scheduled we never do stuff together.

God bless you.

Today was a fun day. We joined in with YWAMers near and far to pray against all forms of modern slavery. We followed the prayer points given out by Steve Goode, leader of mercy ministries international. We learned that there are more slaves today than at the height of the transatlantic slave trade-meaning more than 27 million. These include: sex slaves, child soldiers and people that are forced to work because of inherited debt.

Soon afterwards we decided to have a BBQ. Sergey and Andy prepared the meat and BBQ. Katya made a Russian rice salad. It took a while to prepare everything but in the end we were all happy. We had pork ribs, chicken wings and some rice salad.

Everyone ate a lot which wasn’t a good thing considering the fact that at 3 we were supposed to go play volleyball in Marin.

Everyone except for the Barbascins went to Marin but it started raining as soon as we started playing so our volleyball time became an indoor getting to know each other time. We played games, sang some songs and went home.

As usual I think that in the evening, either before or after, maybe even before and after Tito and David went to the internet café.

CIAO.
